GO WAR EAGLES! Football is BACK!!! HOMECOMING is set for November 6, 2010!

Everyone is very excited about having a football team again. The first game of the season will be at 7:00 p.m. September 2, 2010 right here on the LSD Field. Our War Eagles will play against the Baton Rouge Home School team. Please come out and cheer!

In addition to football, LSD students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of organized sports programs. In the Elementary grades, students play team soccer. In Middle School, volleyball and basketball are popular choices. Softball is a new and growing sport here at LSD.

In High School, student athletes participate in cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, track, cross country and powerlifting.

Our Athletics program is a great source of pride for our school - for students, faculty and staff, and especially for alumni of LSD. Our annual Homecoming festivities are a great reunion for former students, and wouldn't be quite the same without a competitive sports event around which to center the fun!
